CIVs Approved for Full, Provisional Membership

 

The NCIV Board of Directors recently approved full CIV membership for the Northern California World Trade Center (NCWTC) in Sacramento, California. The Board also approved provisional CIV Membership for the World Affairs Council of South Texas in Corpus Christi, TX.

Northern California World Trade Center (NCWTC)
Full CIV

Located in Sacramento, California, NCWTC was founded in 1996 and seeks to bring people together by facilitating trade and business. NCWTC has experience hosting International Visitors including students, business delegations, and IVLP participants serving the capital city of the nation’s most populous state. NCWTC has excellent resources in business, state and local government, nonprofit and academic communities in and around Sacramento.

World Affairs Council of South Texas
Provisional CIV

The World Affairs Council of South Texas (WACST) was established as a 501 (c)(3) organization in 2004, and has been an associate member of NCIV since 2007. The WACST has experience hosting non-IVLP visitors that have come to them through the city and port of Corpus Christi and Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi. Corpus Christi is home to the sixth largest port in the country, a major hub for the petrochemical industry. The city is also home to the world renowned Heart Research Institute at Texas A&M University and other excellent educational facilities.
