Help NCIV promote excellence in citizen diplomacy. The National Council for International Visitors supports a national network of program agencies and 91 community-based organizations in 44 states.

Every day, NCIV helps to open minds and bridge cultures by strengthening the capacities of this network of volunteer citizen diplomats who design and implement professional programs and provide cultural activities and home hospitality opportunities for foreign leaders, specialists, and international scholars.

NCIV encourages unrestricted donations, but we are pleased to have you direct your contribution to one of our current funding priorities:

  • Advocacy. Help NCIV educate members of Congress about the value of U.S. Government supported exchange programs, specifically the U.S. Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Program, and the enormous citizen diplomacy efforts leveraged by these federal dollars.
  • Training. Give greater access to training that will enable our members to enhance their leadership skills and develop organizational capacity.
  • Internship. Add to the NCIV Andrew J. Valuchek Internship Endowment to give dedicated young people the opportunity to work in the NCIV National Office.
  • Education. Add to the NCIV Phyllis Layton Perry Educator of the Year Award Endowment to recognize outstanding educator-citizen diplomats and the essential work they do to expose young minds to the value of international education and exchange.

Contributions are also always welcomed in memory of, or in honor of an individual or group and will be noted as such in all donor recognition, including the NCIV Annual Report and the NCIV newsletter. Individual and corporate donors are classified as "gold," "silver," "bronze," or "rising" stars, including our 2006 donors, will be recognized on the NCIV website.

A donor form noting type of donation and recognition information should accompany all donations for proper processing. All checks should be made out to the National Council for International Visitors and sent to:
